Movie review (lost boys of the Sudan)

This documentary tells the story of unfortunate boys who were forced to evacuate their southern villages. The producers interviewed two of the unfortunate boys who survived the perilous journey from their village into a refugee camp, and finally into the safety of Kenya. There are those who made it, and those who did not. The reason that the refugees were all boys were because the girls were sold into slave trade and adults were killed.

There were several stage and dangers of their journey. They had to carry all their provisions from stop to stop, and many had to deal with homesickness. Many did not have sufficient provisions, and died on the way to the refugee camp. After their stop at the refugee camp, the boys stayed for some time, before continuing. Around this time, the government that had evacuated the villages had just been overthrown, and their surporters were hiding in the jungles. They still had firearms and ammunition, and shot at whoever crossed their paths. There were also dangers of crocodile attacks when they crossed into Kenya

This ten-minute documentary is certainly a well produced one. It is one worthy of our time, and is touching, and teaches us about how fortunate we are, to live in a country where the government is not biased.
